GOOGLE ADSENSE – TIPS AND TRICKS

Once your Google account is approved, it is time for you to get started. Following tips would make the job a little easier.
Fine Tune Your Advertisements
When your AdSense is approved, you will have a Google AdSense account for yourself. In this account, the first thing you would do is to design an advertisement for your blog. Basically, the AdSense is asking you to roughly decide the size, type and style of ad you would like to be on your website. However, Google is free to auto-populate your page with whatever ads it thinks are relevant with your subject matter.
You on the other hand would definitely want a certain type of ads to be displayed to that your current viewers are not annoyed. You can do this by fine-tuning Google ads. AdSense comes with tools which you can use to hold tighter control on the types of ads displayed at your blog. Some of these are
-          Channels – Channels are labels used to group ads according to color, category or pages. You can set up these channels and get a detailed report on the performance for these ads.
-          Ad style – Use on style of ads on one page and for another page use the other style. By the end of the month, you can compare which style converted into better CPC results. Use that style all over.
Ad Placement
A technology named ‘Heatmaps’ shows which part of your blog people interact with most and click most. According to it, the best places to place an ad are
-          above the fold, ad appearing when a visitor first arrives at a page
-          ads on upper left perform better than ads on lower right
-          ads directly above the primary content
-           wider are more effective as they are better to read
-          visitors prefer ads with images or videos
-          ads with color complementing the website also get good views
Content for Blog
Try expanding the subjects you deal with on your blog. Let’s say your blog is about cooking, how about adding a few pages of gardening or travelling every now and then. A blog with a little variety is more likely to pull traffic than a monotonous one. And thus such a blog is more likely to give you better AdSense results.
Compare traffic for each page or topic for you blog to see what content do readers prefer. Add more pages of that subject.
Now here’s a technique right there, where you can earn online, that too by working only part-time on it. Explore it and if you like it, try it. Good luck!
