Pakistan cricket

The Recent 4 Years have been a Mix bag of moments for the fans of Pakistan Cricket. we were hit badly when there was a attack made on the Sri Lankan team and thus cricket was no longer played in this part of the world but the team responded well and we won the Second Edition of the T20 world cup. That was a moment to cherish.Later the team had losses against Sri lanka and a disappointing tour of Australia where the Sydney test was lost in such a way that fingers were raised. Later the did start to do well and all of a sudden our Trio of Talented player sold the Feelings of the Nation for a few dollars. The whole nation was let down by those 3 but then came the men who had the nerves of Steal named "Shahid Afridi" and "Misbah ul Haq". They Did well and Pakistan had a Series win New Zealand and There was a Defining moment when Pakistan shocked the whole world and made it to the Semi final's of the Tournament where teams such as SA and the Aussies were knocked out in the Super 8 stage. The team defeated england 3-0 in the Middle east. There were defeats yet Many victories how ever the Fans always Stood by the Team. We wish your team a Best of luck for the future and Many a success to come. malala conspiracy

With the recent buzz made by certain newspapers and social media platforms, the questions that has popped up with a bang is, what is the story behind Gul Makai’s Swat Diary on BBC blogs?

The reason behind this recent development may  be Abdul Hai Kakar’s, (the BBC reporter who worked with Malala) recent accounts of how the whole idea came about. Post this, rumors and conspiracy theories questioning the credibility of the 11 years girl’s account are resonating in the surrounds.

Essentially, in order to bring about a ‘humanitarian angle’ to the situation in Swat and in Northern areas,  as Kakar mentions in his online interview to a newspaper,  how he came up and structured the idea of Swat Diary to be written by a young girl, in order to ‘creatively and objectively portray the situation on ground in Swat’.  The concept was to choose a local girl to ‘express her emotions’ and so  the silenced majority of Swati girls who were denied their right to education were given a face – Malala’s. He further elaborated that with her father’s unresistant willingness to choose Malala for the job, he would phone her up every day so she could narrate the happenings of her area and her reflections on the same.

Now, whether it was Malala’s own narrative or the reporter trying to elicit a formatted response and later manicuring it to pass for a child’s narrative, are questions that seem to disturb a large audience. An audience who had happily credited an 11-year old Swati girl for her surprising maturity and sheer bravery in breaking ideological and physical shackles to raise her voice against injustice. However, my question is, should this be the pivot of importance or the fact that a father was willing to risk his child’s safety and a young girl who feared the least voicing the truth out loud, only to protect her fellows from the austerity Taliban had in ample stocks. Shouldn’t this effort be appreciated instead of being questioned?

Recently, there seems to be a concentrated effort on face book, twitter and other social media forums to justify attack against Malala, calling her a US agent and the whole issue a foreign conspiracy.

‘ Why Malala alone? Why not a dozen of Pakistani women who die of drones everyday or those who become a sacrifice in terrorist activities? Why Obama has his helicopter on hold for only her?   Why prayers are being said for Malala and not for several other daughters attacked and bruised in various terror strikes?’

As a monosyllabic response: True. If you ask for more, what’s the surprise here? This is only our national tragedy to idolize those who manage to blaze the news. The rest deserve a discriminatory attitude and to learn a lesson that to earn one’s basic rights and people’s support, you’ve got to make it to the headlines, else you’re eclipsed.

Hence,  we must put the conspiracy theories to rest, for there are better matters clamoring for attention, including getting rid of the terrorist elements hostaging our children and lands to meet their own ends and our own disposition of noticing things only when they get a hype.

Types of viruse

The different types of viruses areas follows-
1) Boot Sector Virus :- Boot sector viruses infect either the master boot record of the hard disk or the floppy drive. The bootrecord program responsible for the booting of operating system is replaced by the virus. The viruseither copies the master boot program to another part of the hard disk or overwrites it. They infect a comput...
er when it boots up or when it accesses the infected floppy disk in the floppy drive. i.e. Once a system is infected with a boot-sector virus, any non-write-protected disk accessed by this system will become infected.
Examples of boot- sector viruses are Michelangelo and Stoned.
2) File or Program Viruses :- Some files/programs, when executed, load the virus in the memory and perform predefined functions to infect the system. They infect program files with extensions like .EXE, .COM, .BIN,.DRV and .SYS .
Some common file viruses are Sunday, Cascade.
3) Multipartite Viruses :- A multipartite virus is a computer virus that infects multiple different target platforms, and remains recursively infective in each target. It attempts to attack both the boot sector and the executable, or programs, filesat the same time. When the virus attaches to the boot sector, it will in turn affect the system’s files, and when the virus attachesto the files, it will in turn infect the boot sector.
This type of virus can re-infect a system over and over again if all parts of the virus are not eradicated.
Ghostball was the first multipartite virus, discovered by Fridrik Skulason in October 1989.
Other examples are Invader, Flip, etc.
4) Stealth Viruses :- These viruses are stealthy in nature means it uses various methods for hiding themselves to avoid detection. They sometimes remove themselves from the memory temporarily to avoid detection by antivirus. They are somewhat difficult to detect. When an antivirus program tries to detect the virus, the stealth virus feeds the antivirus programa clean image of the file or boot sector.
5) Polymorphic Viruses :- Polymorphic viruses have the ability to mutate implying that they change the viral code knownas the signature each time they spread or infect. Thus an antivirus program which is scanning for specific virus codes unable to detect it's presense.
6) Macro Viruses :- A macro virus is a computer virus that"infects" a Microsoft Word or similar application and causes a sequence of actions to be performed automatically when theapplication is started or something else triggers it. Macro viruses tend to be surprising but relatively harmless.A macro virus is often spread as an e-mail virus.Well-known examples are Concept Virus and Melissa Worm.

What does the uvula do?

The uvula is a nifty bit of tissue that hangs in the back of your mouth. It plays a function in creating guttural sounds in languages like German, and the click sounds of some African languages.

It does not cover the windpipe during eating and drinking. That is the function of the epiglottis.

It does however block the nasopharynx and prevents food from entering the nasal cavity.

Cat Cannot taste sweets

Take 2 mugs of milk, with one mixed with sugar. The cat never shows special attraction to any glass because she doesn't know which has sugar and which is plain.

Most mammals including us have have taste receptors that can detect sweet, salty, sour, bitter and savory flavors. But this does not include cats(big and small - house cats, tigers and cheetahs etc), dolphins and other pure carnivores. Omnivores that chew their food have kept their sweet receptors, because detecting carbohydrates is a matter of survival. Cats exist on a high-protein meat-packed diet, with very little carbohydrate.

Researchers studying the DNA of house cats, tigers and cheetahs have settled the question: Cats both large and small harbor a genetic mutation that renders the sugar detectors on their taste buds inoperative. Independently and fairly recently, genetic mutations have made various carnivores unable to taste sweet foods. Probably because these species were already subsisting off of meat-only diets that lacked sweet flavors when the mutations first occurred, they did just fine after losing their sweet receptors -- giving rise to entire species of animals that lack appreciation for cookies or fruit.

"Nature's always tossing the dice and mutating genes all over the place, this says that losing a taste gene in an environment where nutrition doesn't depend on it doesn't matter. That loss will persist, because there's no reason for it to be eliminated."

Honey never spoils.

Honey is a sweet food made by bees using necter from flowers. Honey bees transform nectar into honey by a process of regurgitation and evaporation. The nectar brought to the hive by the bees is about 60% water. The bees "cure" it to about 18-19% water. At this level of water and with a pH of 3-4, the honey is very stable and can last for literally centuries.
